Cookies

The app

One cookie, gs_session, keeps you signed in for thirty days. It holds a random session id and nothing else. It is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, so it needs no consent and there is no banner. Signing out deletes it.

The app stores nothing in your browser beyond that. There are no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies.

Visit counts

getstockists.com and the app use Vercel's own visit counts, which set no cookie, use no fingerprinting and hold no personal data; they tell us how many people came and which pages they read. Links that carry a private token, such as a sign-in link, are counted without it.

We also count visits to the home page ourselves, the same way: no cookie and nothing stored on your device, only the page, the name of the site that linked to it and any campaign tag in the link.

How pages are used

getstockists.com and the app use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to show us how pages are used: which pages, what was clicked, and recordings of the screen with every form field hidden. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device, so each visit stands alone unless you are signed in, when it is linked to your account. Links that carry a private token are recorded without it, and nothing is recorded on the pages a shop opens from a brand's intro or on the unsubscribe page.

Emails and pack links

Our emails contain no tracking pixels. A pack link you send to a shop records that the link was opened and which page was reached, against that shop's card in your account; it sets no cookie and records nothing about the person.

Stripe

When you pay, Stripe's checkout page sets its own cookies for fraud prevention. That page is Stripe's and its notice applies there.
